I officially gave up on trying to train the cats with the litter kwitter a couple of days ago and brought out the litterbox. It kinda sucks. Everything was fine up until the very last stage of the training process. Sabriel just couldn't or wouldn't go without enough litter on the ring. She eventually ended up going in what is in her mind a litter-like material-- their dry food :p I was disappointed-- but I didn't get angry. After last christmas' incident I've learned not to. It's really too bad because Ash was great and I think he would've eventually gone on to going litterless. But for the whole thing to work, it has to be both of them. Ash can't be expected to use the toilet when there's also a litterbox somewhere. Oh well. We tried and it's time to move on.
