We're pretty slow at work and I've hundreds of use-or-lose PTO hours so I've decided to take a few days off. I'm not going anywhere though. In the past, these stay-at-home vacations have been disastrous, mind-numbing wastes of time. (I'm looking at you, Horrible Week of 2006!) But I'm determined that this one will be the complete opposite of that. So tomorrow I think I'm getting a few cans of paint and I'm going to do something about this place's pronounced and embarrassing lack of the Darkness Visible. This room at least, anyway. But who knows... maybe the bedroom too.
